What does PEPPOL-COMMON-R047 mean? Italian VAT Code (Partita Iva) must be stated in the correct format
Why did my invoice fail PEPPOL-COMMON-R047?
An Italian VAT Code (Partita IVA, schemeID 0211) used as an identifier must be stated in the correct format. The Partita IVA is the prefix IT followed by 11 digits, and this Peppol rule rejects values that do not conform.

Common causes
- Missing IT prefix
- Fewer or more than 11 digits after the prefix
- Codice Fiscale supplied where the Partita IVA is expected
