Why did my invoice fail PEPPOL-COMMON-R044?
An Italian IPA Code (Codice Univoco Unita Organizzativa, schemeID 0201) used as an identifier must be stated in the correct format. The IPA code identifies Italian public administration units, and this Peppol rule rejects malformed values (the code is a six-character alphanumeric string).

IPA Code (Codice Univoco Unità Organizzativa) must be stated in the correct format
Common causes
- Code with the wrong length
- Lowercase letters or special characters in the code
- A different Italian identifier placed under schemeID 0201
