What does IT-R-002 mean? BT-35 (Seller address line 1) - Italian suppliers MUST provide the postal address line 1 - I fornitori italiani devono indicare l'indirizzo postale.
Why did my invoice fail IT-R-002?
Italian suppliers must provide postal address line 1 (BT-35, the seller street address). This Peppol BIS 3.0 Italian country rule ensures the seller's postal address is present; in UBL BT-35 is cac:AccountingSupplierParty/cac:Party/cac:PostalAddress/cbc:StreetName.

Common causes
- cbc:StreetName missing from the Italian seller's PostalAddress
- Street placed in AddressLine instead of StreetName
