What does IS-R-005 mean? If seller and buyer are icelandic then the invoice shall contain the buyers address with street name and zip code — Ef seljandi og kaupandi eru íslenskir þá skal heimilisfang kaupanda innihalda götuheiti og póstnúmer (BT-50 og BT-53)

Why did my invoice fail IS-R-005?

If both seller and buyer are Icelandic, the invoice shall contain the buyer's address with street name (BT-50) and post code (BT-53). This Peppol BIS 3.0 Icelandic country rule requires a complete structured buyer address on domestic invoices; in UBL these are cbc:StreetName and cbc:PostalZone in the customer party's cac:PostalAddress.

Common causes

• Buyer PostalAddress missing StreetName or PostalZone
• Buyer address supplied only as unstructured text
