What does UBL-CR-409 mean? A UBL invoice should not include the Delivery Shipment
Why did my invoice fail UBL-CR-409?
The UBL element cac:Delivery/cac:Shipment should not be used in an EN 16931 invoice. Shipment details (consignments, transport equipment, goods items) belong to transport documents; the core invoice delivery group carries only the deliver-to party, location and actual delivery date.

A UBL invoice should not include the Delivery Shipment
Common causes
- Freight/shipment data from a TMS or despatch advice included in the invoice
- Mapping package or consignment details into the invoice instead of referencing the despatch advice (BT-16)
