UBL-CR-373
What does UBL-CR-373 mean? A UBL invoice should not include the Delivery DeliveryLocation Address CitySubdivisionName
Why did my invoice fail UBL-CR-373?
The UBL element cac:Delivery/cac:DeliveryLocation/cac:Address/cbc:CitySubdivisionName should not be used in an EN 16931 invoice. The core standard's deliver-to address (BG-15) does not define a business term for a city subdivision, so district or borough information must be carried in the address lines or city name rather than this element.
Official rule text
A UBL invoice should not include the Delivery DeliveryLocation Address CitySubdivisionName
Common causes
- District/borough field from the source system mapped to CitySubdivisionName
- Address libraries for non-EU formats (which use city subdivisions) reused for EN 16931 output
- Emitting all populated UBL address sub-elements without an EN 16931 whitelist
