UBL-CR-371
What does UBL-CR-371 mean? A UBL invoice should not include the Delivery DeliveryLocation Address MarkCare
Why did my invoice fail UBL-CR-371?
The UBL element cac:Delivery/cac:DeliveryLocation/cac:Address/cbc:MarkCare should not be used in an EN 16931 invoice. The deliver-to address (BG-15) covers only the core address fields defined by the standard; MarkCare ('care of') is outside that set and its presence makes the invoice non-conformant with the core invoice model.
Official rule text
A UBL invoice should not include the Delivery DeliveryLocation Address MarkCare
Common causes
- 'c/o' information mapped into MarkCare instead of an address line
- Generic UBL serializer emitting all address sub-elements it has data for
- Reusing a full UBL address structure from another document type (e.g. an order) without trimming it
