UBL-CR-321
What does UBL-CR-321 mean? A UBL invoice should not include the TaxRepresentativeParty PostalAddress District
Why did my invoice fail UBL-CR-321?
The invoice should not contain the District element inside the tax representative's postal address (cac:TaxRepresentativeParty/cac:PostalAddress/cbc:District). EN 16931 limits the tax representative address (BG-12) to a fixed set of business terms, and District is not one of them, so its presence takes the invoice outside the core model.
Official rule text
A UBL invoice should not include the TaxRepresentativeParty PostalAddress District
Common causes
- District or neighbourhood data from an internal address database is mapped into cbc:District
- A full UBL 2.1 address template is used without removing non-core elements
- District information belongs in an address line (BT-62/BT-63/BT-64) or cbc:CountrySubentity but was mapped to the wrong element
