Why did my invoice fail UBL-CR-279?
cac:PayeeParty/cac:PartyLegalEntity/cbc:CompanyLegalForm should not be included: EN 16931 defines a legal-form text only for the seller (BT-33), and the payee's legal-entity block carries only the registration identifier (BT-61).

Common causes
- Copying the seller party structure, where CompanyLegalForm is valid, to the payee
- ERP emitting the legal form for all parties from shared master data
