UBL-CR-192
What does UBL-CR-192 mean? A UBL invoice should not include the AccountingSupplierParty Party Contact OtherCommunication
Why did my invoice fail UBL-CR-192?
This EN 16931 rule warns when the UBL element cac:AccountingSupplierParty/cac:Party/cac:Contact/cac:OtherCommunication is present: the invoice should not include additional communication channels (OtherCommunication) on the seller contact. EN 16931 supports exactly three contact channels for the seller: name (BT-41), telephone (BT-42) and e-mail (BT-43); other channels such as chat or secondary numbers are outside the core model. The element is not forbidden by UBL itself, but it lies outside the EN 16931 core invoice model, so remove it to keep the invoice fully conformant and interoperable.
Official rule text
A UBL invoice should not include the AccountingSupplierParty Party Contact OtherCommunication
Common causes
- ERP contact record holds mobile/secondary channels exported as OtherCommunication
- Schema-driven generator populating all optional Contact structures
- Mapping from a format with richer communication data
