UBL-CR-191
What does UBL-CR-191 mean? A UBL invoice should not include the AccountingSupplierParty Party Contact Note
Why did my invoice fail UBL-CR-191?
This EN 16931 rule warns when the UBL element cac:AccountingSupplierParty/cac:Party/cac:Contact/cbc:Note is present: the invoice should not include a free-text note on the seller contact. The seller contact (BG-6) is limited to name, telephone and e-mail; free-text notes belong at document level (BT-22, cbc:Note on the Invoice) if needed at all. The element is not forbidden by UBL itself, but it lies outside the EN 16931 core invoice model, so remove it to keep the invoice fully conformant and interoperable.

Common causes
- Contact remarks from the ERP mapped to the contact instead of the invoice note
- Generic UBL 2.1 export enabling all Contact children
