BR-CL-08
What does BR-CL-08 mean? Invoiced note subject code shall be coded using UNCL4451
Why did my invoice fail BR-CL-08?
The invoice note subject code must come from the UNCL 4451 code list. This code qualifies what an invoice note (free text) is about. In UBL the subject code is carried as a prefix inside cbc:Note in the form #CODE# per the EN 16931 UBL mapping.

Common causes
- An arbitrary or internal subject qualifier used instead of a UNCL4451 code
- Lowercase or mistyped code
- Note text formatted without the expected code structure when a subject code is intended
How do I fix it?
